We have adopted various practices and principles to create this culture of inclusion and high performance.
Supporting all working styles
- Performance is evaluated on behaviours and outcomes, not on face time in the office.
- Our 6-monthly off-sites bring the team together.
- All meetings have an agenda and actions. Documentation over word-of-mouth is preferred to disseminate knowledge and decisions.
- We mix synchronous and asynchronous communication.
- Across the business, open calendars allow team members add and move meetings, or check if somebody can be interrupted.
- All team members are reachable during their core office hours on Slack. We acknowledge messages and set expectations about when something will be done, even if it isn't straight away.
- Where team members are in-person and remote, meeting are held virtually.
Time in the office
We have a permanent office in London. London-based or nearby team members are encouraged to use the space twice a week. The team office days are Tuesdays and Thursdays each week, and we do team lunches every Tuesday.
